What have we been doing?

Life gets so busy that it seems like people get left behind. There is not enough time to be able to call my dad or call one of my friends in Florida or even take a weekend off to go visit Jay's parents. Even though this happens, everyone is always in our thoughts and hearts. It is nice to get those little e-mails that say hi or an e-mail with a picture of a family that we love. It is nice to see what people are doing on facebook, even if we do not talk very often. It is just nice to be able to do all this stuff via internet! Because of this reason, I am going to try to post a blog once a month so people can see what we are doing, when! :)

Some of the highlights that have had happened to us is:
1 - All but Alec had the flu around Easter
2 - Jay had his 20th class reunion
3 - Kirsten got to play basketball in Wisconsin Dells, Morris, and Target Center
4 - We volunteered at the Vasaloppet again this year
5 - Kaylee went to South Dakota and Chicago
6 - Jaydan is EXCELLING in first grade was in swimming lessons, VBS, went to Grindstone Bible Camp, is in dance, girl scouts, and church choir
7 - We learned in September that Alec has panic disorder with changes so he is now seeing the school counselor, which is going very well for him. He is also doing very well in school!
8 - Kaylee was in track last spring and lettered and got Most Improved award! She just finished cross country running and she loved it. She is now going to be the Hockey Manager
9 - Kirsten got to play a lot of basketball this summer and just got done playing Volleyball. She will be starting basketball next week.
10 - Jay is still teaching and coaching basketball and baseball and loving it. He has been so helpful this summer and fall while I have been working, I don't know how I am going to go back to being a single mom again!
11 - I am still working, trying to volunteer whenever I can. I took off a semester from college but looking at taking part-time classes in January.  I am also taking a couple photography classes in November and have done a couple senior photo sessions!

That's all I got right now, I hope all is well and we will post when we remember again! :)
